To download a trial version of CRE you need to determine if you have a 32 bit or 64 bit processor. Go to System in the control panel or start menu to determine which you have.
Next check for updates in Windows. Type in ‘updates’ in the search bar on the start menu to go to updates. Check for updates. Check the details of the updates list to make sure all are checked for the update?, then proceed. When finished updating restart the computer and double check again for updates until all clear. (Microsoft Frameworks update is most important)

After download and installation, be sure to run software as an Administrator:
(Right click on CRE Desktop icon) Properties>Compatibility>Run as Administrator
Setup up as a Liquor Store for a Database full of Inventory items and Departments. Set up as a blank Database if you would like to start to build your own Departments and Inventory.
